Here is exactly how a Florida Roof & Impact roof replacement runs, and what we need from you at each stage.
1. Inspection and written proposal
We inspect the roof, attic and deck from above and below where accessible, measure the roof area, and photograph what we find. You receive a written proposal with the material specification, scope, exclusions and price. No pressure and no same-day discount games.
2. Permit and scheduling
Once you approve, we file the permit with your municipality or the county and submit the product approval documentation the code requires. Scheduling follows permit issuance, and we confirm the start date and expected duration in writing.
3. Tear-off and dry-in
The crew protects landscaping and walkways, removes the existing roof, and inspects the deck. Any damaged sheathing is photographed and shown to you before it is replaced. The roof is then dried in with underlayment so the home is protected even if weather interrupts the schedule.
4. Installation and inspection
Underlayment, edge metal, flashing, ventilation and the finished roofing material are installed to the manufacturer specification. The municipal inspector reviews the work at the required stages, and we correct anything flagged before proceeding.
5. Final walkthrough and documentation
We walk the property with you, review the completed scope, hand over the permit documentation and warranty terms, and sweep the site for fasteners and debris. If something is not right, it gets addressed then, in writing.

Our Roofing Process questions
Move vehicles out of the driveway, clear the areas beneath the roof of fragile items, and secure pets. We handle protection of landscaping and daily cleanup.
